Install the Free plugin
In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin and search for “Accessible Forms by Accessible.org”. Choose Install Now, then Activate. You can also open the official WordPress.org listing from Downloads. If you choose the direct Free ZIP instead, use Upload Plugin to install it. Keep one Free distribution active.
View Accessible Forms on WordPress.org
- Check that your site runs WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer, then take a site backup.
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for Accessible Forms by Accessible.org, then install and activate it. For a downloaded ZIP, choose Upload Plugin instead.
- Open Accessible Forms → Settings and review sending, spam and privacy settings.
Build and review
Open Accessible Forms, start with a template and add your questions. Give every question a visible label and useful instructions. Work through Build, Style, Email and confirmation, then Review and publish.
- Start with a template and identify the minimum answers your task needs.
- Set labels, instructions and required fields. Preview normal and error states.
- Review the notification and confirmation, complete the author review and publish the form.
Place it on a page
Publish the form, then add the Accessible Form block or its shortcode to your page. Publishing the form and publishing the page are separate actions. Test the finished page using your real theme, keyboard and sample answers.
- Edit the intended page and choose the Accessible Form block or paste the form's shortcode.
- Select the published form, then publish or update the page separately.
- Open that public page and test it with your real theme and sample data.
Check submissions and delivery
Accepted submissions appear in WordPress under Accessible Forms → Entries. Check the entry and the email notification separately. Provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
- Submit a controlled sample on staging with an inbox you can inspect.
- Find the accepted entry under Entries and inspect its notification history.
- Check the actual mailbox. A transport acceptance result alone does not prove inbox delivery.
