Choosing an edition

Can I use Free without an account?

Yes. Free does not require a paid license or customer account. Your forms and accepted entries live in your WordPress site.

Is Pro a replacement for Free?

No. Pro is a separate add-on installed alongside Free. It extends the same forms and uses the core accessibility and access safeguards.

Can I collect payments inside a form?

There is no built-in form payment field or e-commerce checkout. Stripe Checkout on this website sells Pro licenses; it is separate from the forms your WordPress site collects.

Are team permissions paid?

No. Free 1.3.2 includes the team roles, role permissions and per-form submission access interface. Check Downloads for the currently published version.

Can I upgrade existing forms?

Activate compatible Free and Pro versions together, then configure the extra features on your existing form. Review and publish changes before expecting the public form to use them.

Sites, licenses and billing

What does $29 per website per year mean?

Choose your website allowance before checkout. Each site costs $29 USD annually, so five sites have a $145 USD annual base total. Checkout shows applicable taxes and the final amount before payment.

Do I need to sign in before paying?

No. Choose the number of sites and continue to Stripe Checkout as a guest. Use the purchase email later to open your account.

Can I move a license to another website?

Disconnect the old website in the plugin or your account, then activate the new one within the purchased allowance. Removing an activation frees a slot; it does not uninstall software from the old site.

How do I add more sites than my allowance?

The current portal supports purchasing another license. It does not offer an in-place subscription quantity upgrade. You can manage each license and its connected sites in your account.

What happens after cancellation or expiry?

Cancel renewal through the billing portal. Installed Pro features continue working, while access to future protected updates, downloads and support depends on your paid period and license status.

Where are invoices and payment methods?

Open My account → Billing and invoices. The billing action opens Stripe's customer portal for the associated subscription. Refund requests are handled separately through support under the published request guide.

Installation and updates

Which versions do the feature pages describe?

The detailed feature guide is checked against Free 1.4.0 and Pro 1.3.2 source. The WordPress.org listing shows the current directory release. Downloads and Release notes identify separately published direct Free and Pro installers; source versions alone do not establish their availability.

How do I install the Free plugin?

In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for “Accessible Forms by Accessible.org”, then install and activate it. Downloads also links to the official listing and offers the separate direct Free installer with signed Accessible.org updates. Keep one Free distribution active.

Should I update Free or Pro first?

Check the release requirements and update Free first when Pro needs a newer core version. Pro checks compatibility before installing a protected update.

What happens when I deactivate Pro?

Forms, completed entries and retained configuration stay. Upload fields are not shown, conditional fields show, steps become a single page, and Pro-only delivery and follow-up features pause. Temporary saved progress, prepared exports and retry copies are removed.

Notifications and integrations

Is a stored entry the same as a delivered email?

No. An accepted submission is stored before notification sending. A transport accepting a message, a recipient mail server accepting it and the email reaching an inbox are different outcomes.

Do you provide a Resend, Mailtrap or SMTP account?

No. Pro connects to your configured service using your credentials and sender. Provider verification, usage limits and any provider charges belong to that service.

When does the fifteen-minute WordPress backup run?

For eligible new API emails when delivery tracking, its callback and the backup setting are configured. A scheduled check can send one backup to recipients still without confirmation. Known delivery, delays and terminal events stop the retry. Missing callbacks can still lead to duplicate copies.

Is there a built-in Mailchimp, Slack or Google Sheets connector?

These are not native integrations provided by this plugin. Pro has signed submission webhooks to your own HTTPS endpoint, which can be used for a separately implemented connection.

Data and accessibility

Does the license server receive my visitors' form answers?

The license connection exchanges licensing and update information, not visitor submissions. Enabled email providers or your webhook endpoint receive the content selected for those features. The website account and WordPress entry store are separate systems.

Does the plugin certify my website as accessible?

No. It provides authoring, rendering and publication safeguards. Your content, theme and other code still affect accessibility, so test the published form in its actual context.

Does the public form work without JavaScript?

There is a native submission path with server validation. Pro steps and review are not available in that path. Token-based spam checks can hold submissions for review when verification is missing.

Are approved attachments guaranteed safe?

No. Uploads have supported-type and content checks and a private quarantine workflow. Reviewer approval is not a malware scan.

Need an answer about your own account?

Use a private support request for a purchase, activation or delivery investigation. Share the relevant versions and steps without including private visitor answers or credentials.
