Use the keyboard
Navigate with Tab and Shift+Tab. Use arrow keys in radio groups and Space for checkboxes. Trigger an error and follow its summary links. Check focus visibility, narrow layouts and zoom on the finished page.
- Move forward and backward through the form without a pointer.
- Trigger required and format errors and follow the error links.
- With Pro, test every active step, conditional path, comparison and Edit action.
Check the real theme
The private preview and live-page checks help you inspect the form. Record the manual tests you actually performed, including screen-reader testing where appropriate. Theme overrides, content and third-party components still affect the result.
- Test current edits privately inside the intended page's theme.
- Repeat on the published page with narrow layouts and zoom.
- Record the revision, browser, intended page and checks actually completed; leave other tests as Not tested.
Know the scope
Accessible Forms provides safeguards and authoring tools. It does not certify a form, guarantee whole-site WCAG compliance or replace a contextual accessibility evaluation.
- Review outdated records after a relevant form, page, theme or configuration change.
- Use a normal staging submission to test spam verification, saved progress, actual uploads and delivery.
