How it works
Combine the rules your form needs
Set a field's conditions using up to eight AND/OR clauses. Number, date and time comparisons support rules that go beyond matching a single choice.
- Show a question only when its conditions match
- Use all or any matching clauses as appropriate
- Keep the questions that trigger a rule understandable on their own
Validate a relationship between answers
A comparison can check compatible answers, such as an end date after a start date or a requested amount within a budget. Linked errors explain which answer needs attention.
- Both source questions must be active and nonempty
- Ordinary format and required errors remain useful
- The server checks the comparison even when browser scripts are bypassed
Keep hidden data out of the result
The server evaluates active fields and excludes answers hidden by the configured conditions from storage. Additional named notifications can use their own conditions to choose a relevant destination.
- Conditional changes use short, polite announcements
- An answer left behind in a hidden field is not treated as an active answer
- Test each notification route separately, including its default path
Separate general questions from project enquiries
An enquiry form can ask for project details only when a visitor says they are starting a project.
Choose a request type
Start with a clear general-question or project-enquiry choice.
Reveal relevant details
Show a project budget and dates for project enquiries. Compare the end date with the start date when both are active.
Route the response
Use an additional conditional notification for the relevant team, and test both the matching and nonmatching routes.

Free and Pro for this workflow
Feature reference: Free 1.4.0 and Pro 1.3.2. Check published downloads for the version you can install.
Included in Free
- Ordinary required fields and field-specific validation
- Choice fields, clear instructions and a main notification
- Server validation for the core public form
With Pro
- Up to eight AND/OR condition clauses
- Compatible number, date and time answer comparisons
- Conditional questions and additional notification routes
Plan your setup
- Conditional logic and answer comparisons require Pro to be active. Disabling Pro shows conditional questions and pauses Pro comparisons.
- Keep every path coherent. A field that depends on an inactive or unanswered source may not be relevant.
- A sample email preview does not exercise every condition. Submit controlled staging examples for each path.
Common questions
Does hidden mean the answer is still stored?
Answers excluded by the active server-side field conditions are excluded from the stored submission.
Do comparisons depend only on JavaScript?
No. The server enforces them too. Browser checks improve feedback while moving through steps or submitting.
