Build a form around the task.

Build WordPress forms with thirteen field types, starter templates, visible instructions and a deliberate review before publication.

How it works

Start with the right questions

Create a contact form or start from a template, including an accessibility barrier report. Build as many forms as your site needs and keep each form's questions focused on its task.

  • Text, email, telephone, URL and number fields
  • Date, time, section heading and message fields
  • Dropdowns, radio groups, checkbox groups and consent checkboxes

Make a longer form easier to edit

Search your fields, duplicate a question and change the order with keyboard controls. Labels, help text, required settings and answer limits stay beside the question they describe.

  • Use autofill purposes to help browsers understand a question
  • Recover a removed field with the supported undo action
  • Separate related questions with a section heading

Keep unfinished changes private

The editor separates Build, Style, Email & confirmation, and Review & publish, with visible labels, small icons and an active underline. Saving a draft does not replace the live form. Review the current configuration before choosing to publish it.

  • Choose one of four built-in themes in Free
  • Inspect Normal, Focus and Error samples in Style, and confirmation in Review & publish
  • With Pro, reuse saved templates and import or export form definitions

Style the form without losing the safeguards

Free offers Classic light, Ocean blue, Forest green and Midnight themes. Pro adds custom colors, text size, spacing, corners and reusable brand presets while retaining the core contrast checks.

  • Use Pro for side-by-side fields and labels above, beside or floating
  • Set form width and button alignment for the intended page
  • Test the chosen layout, long labels, focus and error states under the actual theme

Build a useful enquiry form

A short contact form can collect the information a team needs without asking for everything at once.

  1. Choose the essentials

Add name, email and a message. Make only the answers you actually need required.

  2. Explain the question

Use visible labels and help text. A placeholder can show an example, but it does not replace the label.

  3. Review, then place

Check the form and its notification, publish it, then add the block or shortcode to a WordPress page.

An example workflow. Configure and test it in your own WordPress site.

Plan your setup

  • Adding and rearranging fields in the WordPress editor requires JavaScript. Public forms have a native submission path without it.
  • Changing a starter template replaces the current fields after confirmation. Save work you want to keep first.
  • A form import is a configuration transfer, not an import of completed entries.

Common questions

Do I need Pro to build a complete contact form?

No. The core field types, notification, submissions, themes and publishing workflow are included in Free.

Will editing a published form change the live page immediately?

Draft changes stay separate. Publishing the reviewed changes updates the pages that use that form.
